Ricochet is a stunning black hunter stallion with chrome by Redwine out of Ideal's Saphron (Ideal x Frohwind).  He is extremely well mannered, so much so in fact, that people tend to forget he is a stallion. He has excellent conformation, is a great mover with an incredible canter, and jumps in perfect hunter form.  His temperament, correctness, and type combined make him a desirable stallion for those looking for a top level hunter with the quality to win on the line as a young horse and have continued success through the years.

Redwine, Ricochet's sire, is an impressive black hanoverian stallion that competed through the first year greens with John French.  Known for stamping his foals with chrome and an unflappable temperament and rideability, combined with good movement and correct jumping form, he has become a popular choice for breeders looking at hunter stallions.

Ideal's Saphron, Ricochet's dam, was premium filly at her Oldenburg Inspection.  She is extremely ridable, and although she has spent most of her life as a broodmare, is always very well mannered under saddle.  Her gaits are comfortable and she carries herself in natural hunter form.  She was also high scoring champion non-hanoverian mare at her Hanoverian inspection in 2015.

Ricochet, and his dam, Ideal's Saphron, were both bred by Donna Belcher, and are currently owned by WestWood Farms LLC.
