Broodmare & Foaling Services

 

WestWood Farms Michigan also offers Broodmare care and foaling services.  Our pregnant mares are kept on cameras and monitered regularly when foaling is imminent.  They are given the highest of care with excellent vet services as needed.  We assist with each foaling and start the handling process right away.  We believe a good foundation starting with the basics is imperative for every horse and believe it very beneficial to start from an early age.   All of our foals are handled daily and taught to lead, load, pick up their feet, and stand for grooming.
