Young Horse Training Now Available!
WestWood Farms Michigan is proud to announce our partnership with professional rider and trainer, Lauren Capinegro, and now offer training for young horses. From day old foals to young horses who are just getting backed, WestWood Farms offers clients a patient and organzied approach to backing your horse. We believe a good foundation starting with basic ground work is imperative for every horse and believe it very beneficial to start basic ground work from an early age.
About Lauren Capinegro...
Lauren has been riding and working with horses her whole life. After completing a very successful junior career, she moved on to be a young professional. She's worked with some of the top professionals in the Midwest, including David Beisel, before settling down in Oxford, Michigan and joining the WestWood Farms Family. She manages a very successful school program that offers private lessons to the public, and also works alongside Janie Losin with the Broodmares and their foals. She travels to shows with her clients and young horses in training and works hard to help each individual accomplish their goals.
Besides teaching, and working with the foals, her real passion is starting and training young horses. She believes that basic ground work and flat work is the solid foundation every horse needs in order to have a successful career. She runs her training program out of WestWood Farms and offers backing, breaking, and tune up servies. Whether your horse or pony has never been backed, or it just needs a refresher, Lauren offers a varitey of training packages catered to fit your individual needs and budget.
